How we work

One transaction. One commercial assessment.

Direct

You speak to the people who assess the transaction. There is no relationship manager between you and the decision.

Structured

Senior, stretch senior, mezzanine, preferred equity or joint venture — the structure follows the transaction, not a product sheet.

Decided

A clear answer early is worth more than a slow maybe. We aim to establish suitability before you have spent money on it.

Process

From submission to funding.

  1. 01

    Submission

A short transaction summary: amount, asset, use of funds, security, repayment.

  2. 02

    Preliminary assessment

We tell you whether there is a credible basis for further discussion — and if not, why.

  3. 03

    Indicative structure

Proposed structure, key conditions, and the exact information required for underwriting.

  4. 04

    Due diligence

Legal, valuation, technical, financial and counterparty review, scaled to the transaction.

  5. 05

    Documentation and funding

Execution and drawdown, following approval and satisfaction of all conditions precedent.

Capital Authority

Decisions are taken here

Most capital introductions travel a long way before anyone with authority sees them. A file is reviewed, forwarded, re-underwritten, and referred to a credit committee that has never met the principal and never will. Months pass. The answer, when it arrives, is procedural.

LEM Global is structured to remove that distance. Mezzanine and structured capital allocations are decided by the Investment Committee itself — two principals with mandated allocation authority, no external referral, no third-party underwriting layer between the sponsor and the decision.

What that means in practice is simple. You present once, to the people who decide.

VICTOR VON GOLDSCHMIDT

CHAIRMAN OF THE INVESTMENT COMMITTEE · SENIOR PRINCIPAL

Victor von Goldschmidt chairs the Investment Committee and holds senior allocation authority for mezzanine, structured and hybrid capital across the firm's mandate.

Over the past two decades he has led or co-led capital allocation decisions representing an average annual volume of approximately EUR 2 billion, across institutional mandates in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the Gulf Cooperation Council. His work concentrates on subordinated and mezzanine structures in real estate, infrastructure and mid-market corporate finance, typically where a conventional senior lender has reached the limit of its policy and the sponsor requires a counterparty willing to underwrite complexity rather than avoid it.

He is known among sponsors for a particular discipline: a clear answer, early. A structure that does not work is declined in days, not quarters — and the reasoning is given.

DAVID BANDMANN

PRINCIPAL · INVESTMENT COMMITTEE

David Bandmann serves on the Investment Committee with independent allocation authority for mezzanine and growth capital commitments within the firm's mandate.

His track record spans approximately two decades and an average annual allocation volume of around EUR 2 billion, developed across institutional credit, private capital and direct participation mandates in Europe and the Middle East. He focuses on transaction sizes from EUR 10 million to EUR 250 million, with particular depth in situations requiring a bridge between an existing senior facility and a defined exit or refinancing event.

Sponsors describe his underwriting as forensic. He reads the model before he reads the presentation.

How the committee works

The Investment Committee convenes on a standing basis and decides within its own mandate. There is no external credit committee, no syndicate consent requirement at the decision stage, and no obligation to refer a transaction upward for approval.

Sponsors receive an indicative position within ten business days of a complete submission, and a term sheet or a reasoned decline within thirty. Where the committee declines, it says why.

Figures stated reflect the aggregate capital allocation volume in which the named individuals were involved in a decision-making capacity over the course of their respective professional careers, including engagements preceding their appointment to LEM Global Family Office LLC. They do not represent assets under management, committed capital, or the balance sheet of LEM Global Family Office LLC or any affiliate. Past transaction volume is not an indication of capital availability, allocation capacity, or future performance. Nothing on this page constitutes an offer, a solicitation, investment advice, or a commitment to provide financing. All allocation decisions remain subject to due diligence, documentation and the applicable mandate parameters.

If the transaction is sound,
the structure can be built.

Tell us what you are financing, what secures it, and how it is repaid. We will tell you quickly whether we can act.
