01 · Bridge Finance

When the deadline is the transaction.

An acquisition must complete, a facility has matured, or a bank cannot move before your deadline. We provide short-term capital against real security, on a timetable set by the transaction rather than by a credit committee calendar.

Where it applies
  • Acquisition bridge

Completion capital where the purchase must close before long-term financing is in place.

  • Maturity default

An existing facility has matured or is about to, and the incumbent lender will not extend.

  • Auction and distressed purchase

Time-bound purchases where certainty of funds matters more than the lowest coupon.

  • Equity release

Releasing trapped equity from an owned asset to fund a separate, time-critical commitment.

  • Refinancing bridge

A defined period to reach a bankable position, a sale, or a refinancing event.

  • Partner buy-out

Funding the exit of an existing shareholder or joint venture partner.

What we underwrite
  • Quality and enforceability of the security offered
  • A defined, evidenced repayment event — sale, refinancing or cash flow
  • Sponsor equity already committed and at risk
  • Jurisdiction, title and enforcement pathway
  • Counterparty background, source of funds and sanctions position
What we need from you
  • A one-page transaction summary: amount, asset, use of funds, security, repayment
  • Valuation or credible evidence of value
  • Ownership structure and title position
  • Existing debt, charges and encumbrances
  • Timetable and the date by which funds are required
What we do not do
  • Unsecured lending
  • Financing without an identifiable repayment event
  • Transactions we cannot evidence through documentation
